WHY, I was asking, do we resist waking up?
How can we stop resisting and start letting go into the flow that takes us where we need to go.
Let me make up a quick 3-point manifesto, to put a context around this:
1) The reason you are struggling is because life is trying to mirror to you the parts of yourself that need to let go of some kind of fixation or clinging. In fact, they need to dissolve, before you can access reality.
2) There really is a Greater Intelligence that knows you, knows your deepest soul aspirations, knows your highest destiny, knows how to get you there.
3) The so-called ego-death is a birth into a place that we have been wanting to get back to for a very long time. Oneness. Integration. A truly restful yet exhilarating unfolding into more love, more fun per hour.
How can we get there?
It is said that the journey of a 1000 miles begins with the first step. (It was also said, in a jokey email I received last week, that nowadays, the journey of a 1000 miles begins with a cash advance ;-) )
Another truism is that you can get there from here. Wherever you are, however stuck you think you are, there is always a next step that will bring you closer to that remembering point within your own consciousness.
Here is where iWave comes in: That next step is to surf on a wave, and you can learn to do this. Much as some teachers like to insist that there are no techniques for getting there, that it's all just grace, what they are actually saying is that the only technique is to sit and listen to them saying there are no techniques for getting there.
I have found that there really are a few practices that work radically well to get me and others unstuck and rapidly catapult us back into the flow that leads out of fixated consciousness into the wavy stream that carries us home. The key word is wave -- as you have probably figured, if you have done my work or read my website even a little...
Within every seemingly solid objective situation in the material world, and every logically impossible situation in the mental world, and every overwhelmingly painful or scary situation, in the world of feelings, there is a subtle wave, or flow that, if you can find it, you can surf it right through walls, right through fears, right through contradictions, out beyond that situation into infinite freedom. This wave is so subtle that denser forms cannot stop it. It is so dynamic that it expands and contracts, bends and undulates, changes frequency and size, to get you out of jail fast. It is the living soulwave that never leaves you, like a little NON-Imaginary Friend who follows you around waiting for that moment when you wake up and say, "Okay, I'm ready to shift modes and stop being caught in this. Where is my surfboard, oh Ally? Guide me to the wave and let's surf on outa here."
This may sound very metaphorical, but if you have experienced the mother/soul/i-wavework, you know that this is the PRACTICAL secret of all secrets, and that acquiring this skill frees you, potentially, from all the solid stuff that can otherwise slow you down, mug you, drug you and keep you enslaved in what may even seem like safety or pleasure, wasting yet another life...
Wow - I wonder if this will make sense in the morning?
I'm going to go to bed and surf that subtle i-Wave into the infinite.
sending waves of love, darlings
P.S. Now it's the next morn, and it makes sense to me -- how 'bout you?
